How far in advance should I get travel vaccinations?
It's best to book a consultation at least 6-8 weeks before you travel. Some vaccines require multiple doses spaced weeks apart to be fully effective. However, even if you're travelling last minute, we can still provide advice and protection.
Can I get my flu jab at the same time as travel vaccines?
Yes, in most cases it is safe and convenient to receive your annual flu vaccine along with other travel vaccinations during the same appointment. Our pharmacist will confirm this with you during your consultation.
Are there any side effects I should know about?
Most common side effects are mild and temporary, such as pain or swelling at the injection site, mild fever, fatigue, or body aches. These usually resolve within a day or two. Our team will provide you with all the necessary aftercare information.
What is the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICVP)?
Also known as the "yellow card," the ICVP is an official proof of vaccination required by some countries for entry, most commonly for Yellow Fever. We are an authorized center and can provide this certificate after your vaccination.
